Data Deletion
This page explains how TraceBoards users can request account deletion or deletion of personal and workspace data.
1. Overview
TraceBoards lets users store account, workspace, client, contact, task, follow-up, waiting, payment tracking, and activity data. You can request deletion of your account or data by contacting us from your registered email address.
2. What data can be deleted
- Account profile information.
- Workspace records and workspace membership information.
- Clients, contacts, companies, deals, notes, tasks, follow-ups, waiting items, tags, custom fields, files, and activity records.
- Manual payment tracking records created in TraceBoards.
- Support requests and related account correspondence where deletion is legally allowed.
3. How to request account deletion
To request account deletion, email privacy@traceboards.com from the email address associated with your TraceBoards account. Include the subject line "Account deletion request" and the account email you want deleted.
4. How to request workspace or content deletion
To request deletion of a specific workspace or content type, email privacy@traceboards.com from your registered email address and describe the workspace, client, or data category you want deleted.
5. What happens after deletion
After verifying your request, we will delete or anonymize eligible account and workspace data. Deletion may remove access to your workspace, clients, tasks, notes, follow-ups, payment tracking records, and related app data.
6. Data that may be retained
Some limited information may be retained where required for legal, billing, tax, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audit, backup, or record-keeping purposes.
7. Deletion processing time
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 7 days. Backup copies may take longer to expire depending on provider retention and operational requirements.
8. Contact information
In-app account deletion is not yet available. Until then, request deletion by emailing privacy@traceboards.com from your registered email address. For general help, contact support@traceboards.com.
